GEORGE FRANCIS BURNS (Age 58)
On Saturday, January 24, 2015, of Columbia MD. Beloved father of Matthew, Joseph, and Patrick Burns; son of Jean E. and the late John "Tex" Burns; brother of Brian (Terri) Burns, Mark Burns, Sharon (Chris) Duffy and Suzanne (Greg) Zielinski; longtime companion of Lee Cobb. Also survived by 10 nieces, nephews, his former wife, Ellen Burns and many loving family members and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, 20901 (Valet Parking), Friday, January 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Mass at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD 20832 on Saturday, January 31 at 10 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the American Cancer Society.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
