On Sunday, July 20, 2014, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of Jacqueline A. Hewitt; survived by five children, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I'm very sorry to hear about George's passing. George was a gentle giant that everyone liked. From when I was young living next door, to later in life when he would stop by the family service station he always brought a smile. God bless and may he rest in peace.
