GERARD BRIAN McCANN "Gerry"
Peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014, of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of 36 years to Margaret "Peg" McCann; loving father of Gerard "Ciaran" and Clare McCann. Son of Gerard and Margaret "Peg" McCann, Son-in-law of John and Margaret Carroll. Brother of Paul, Seamus and Desmond McCann. Also survived by 19 nieces and nephews both stateside and in Ireland. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, December 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, December 19 at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital directed to the Paul Schaffer Nursing Education Fund or the Transplant Institute, c/o Pam Maroulis, 1 Main Hospital Admin, 3800 Reservoir Rd, NW, Washington, DC, 20007.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
