Thoughts and prayers to you and your family at such a difficult time. I will always remember John and Gil running back and forth on Christmas Eve between the houses once you kids were sleeping to get everything just right for the morning. Excuse an older woman's absence, as I am not well these days.

I remember my uncle, Gilbert Cole, as a hard-working man who acted according to his principles, provided well for his family and liked to keep a strong sense of order in his world. He was often stern and serious. But I also recall his laughter, sense of adventure, and a fun-loving gleam in his eye! I admired him. May he rest in peace.

My love and condolences to all the Cole children and your families; and I hope you can find some comfort in the good memories.
