On Monday, September 5, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Lori" Hawkins. Loving father of Jessica (Jason) Maynard and Nichole Hawkins. Grandfather of Makayla and Mason Maynard. Son of Guy and Nancy Hawkins. Brother of Lynn Harper. Uncle of Brittany, Scott and Ryan Harper. Memorial Service at North Chevy Chase Christian Church, 8814 Kensington Parkway, Chevy Chase, MD, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment Private. My deepest sympathies to the family. I worked with Glenn in the printing business a long time ago but it seems like yesterday. I remember he would drive his Chevette around like it was a Corvette. We had a lot of fun together. He will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

My man. I was sad to hear the news. Glen and I were good friends as kids and while we haven't seen or spoken in many years I feel an emptiness in my heart with this news. I remember you (him) as my good friend. We chewed tobacco together for the first time, drew pictures in class and terrorized the neighborhood as kids. This hurts my heart to know you (he) were gone. Goodbye my friend. Your passing reminds me that time is flying and life is so fleeting. My heart goes out to your family and friends. I'll see you again at sunrise brother.

I have known you since we were 5 and even though we did not see much of one another after high school unless I was on my way to my parents we would always chat like it was 30 years ago. Lots of memories from birthday parties to swimming at your house. Gone way to soon. RIP my friend!!
