When I sat in front of Ben and Betty at the Episcopal Church, it was always a pleasure to shake hands. The last time Ben and I shook hands I said "Back to you". He has his family with him now. My mother and Betty were close card table friends.
Dear Mrs. Johns and family: I just learned of your loss and offer my sincere condolences. Mr. Johns' love and care for his family and his students was evident every day and he left a wonderful and enduring legacy with both.
I will miss BI - my thoughts with all his family that he loved dearly.

I just this hour found out about dear Ben. I have only the warmest memories of this true gentle man. I am so sorry for your loss. May all your wonderful & loving memories be a source of comfort to you.
Mr Johns was my mentor, tennis coach, teacher and most importantly friend. He was a great teacher at EHS who treated his students and players like his own children. He always treated me and everyone else with the utmost respect and we always loved him for that. Congrats on a life well lived Mr. Johns - you will be missed!!!
Mr Johns contributed mightly to the lives of so many people. We are all tearful and will miss him greatly. He was a wonderful treacher but also a great leader and proud father and husband. Such a great loss.
I deeply regret that I am far awat today and cannot attend the service, but my prayers and condolences are with you.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of a great teacher in all senses of the word. Mr. Johns was Knowledgeable, patient, demanding, and fair.
Dear Betty, Page, Elizabeth, Ben, Randy, and all the family,
Our hearts grieve for your loss and we continue to lift all the family up in prayer to the Lord Jesus, our great Comforter. I know Mom adored her first cousin, who was only 5 months older than she. Mom told me how much fun they had playing together as children. I know by their faith, that they are again having a great time visiting in heaven.
Ben was always so gracious whenever I brought Mom to Orange, and then W-C to see him and Betty. It was very obvious that he loved people, and especially his family. He was so proud of all of you! May the Lord flood your hearts and minds with great memories, and also His eternal promises to encourage you over the coming months.
Love to all!
My condolences on the loss of so admired and liked an EHS colleague.
Ben, So sorry for your loss, he seemed to be a wonderful man. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
