Please accept my deepest sympathy & condolences for your loss. I went to high school with both Tom & David. I will always remember their strong competitive spirt, & there willingness to help others. I admired & respected their whole family! They always seemed to set the standard for others to follow. Dave will be missed but not forgotten.

Was on the wrestling team at Hammond and T.C. with both David and Tom. There names often come up when the guys on the football team get togeather. Sorry Davey passed so soon, Wish I had the chance to see him again. Many good memories.

David will be missed and as we all know he was an asset to the consumer movement.
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dave was very outgoing and considerate.

For the brief time that I knew him, I could see him as geniune, devoted, kind-hearted and honest individual.

May God in the Heavens Bless Him and watch over his spirit.

David was my friend and I will miss him alot. He was active and did many things to help others. He enjoyed writing, playing his harmonica, walking, and just being friendly to everyone he met. He was always trying to make people laugh and feel better. He loved his family very much and spoke of them often.

I met David at our regional recovery work group. We were working to change "the system". He was a little shy, but surprisingly warm. He always asked good questions. Our group will miss him and we are thankful for the memories shared on these pages.

DAVID'S SONG - by Linda Winner

Always the jokester
You were our biggest fan
Always writing poetry
No one could understand
A friend true and faithful
Made us laugh, brought us cheer
There's an empty place inside our hearts
Without You here

We grieve, but not as those who have no hope
In Christ we live and never die
Though for now you've gone
And these tears for you we cry
In Christ, we never have to say goodbye

Who could have imagined
It happened suddenly
We thought you'd always be around
You were too young to leave
Now your burden's lifted
On heaven's peaceful shores
The trials of earth are vanquished
In the presence of the Lord

We grieve, but not as those who have no hope
In Christ we live and never die
Though for now you've gone
And these tears for you we cry
In Christ, we never have to say goodbye
