Always in my heart & soul! All My Love!
We have lost a talented man. My thoughts are with his family. May you find comfort in the hope we all have of being reunited with him.
Rest In Peace, Garrett, my friend. Mary and I miss you. Heaven finally has someone who can decorate the place! And you don't have to worry about the budget.
Uncle Garrett, We have not seen you as often as we wanted, but you where always in out thoughts. We will miss you. Love you always.
Garrett Lewis was a multi-talented actor, singer, dancer and artist. I has the pleasure of working with him on Broadway in "Vintage '60" and in Abbe Lane's nightclub act. His "design" eye took him into set decoration where he received multiple Oscar nominations. He was also the best friend anyone could ever have: kind, funny, caring and loyal. My wife and I will never forget him.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I did my first professional show with Garrett at L.A.s Ahmanson Th. in Fall 1971: "A Funny Thing..." starring Phil Silvers. He was one of three Proteans and showed the audience nightly how multi-talented and funny he was. Moreover, he was equally humorous and charming with the cast--especially those of us getting our starts. Thanks for the memories and for proving that "talented" and "nice" go hand-in-hand. Godspeed Garrett!!!
May our Creator comfort you during this time of sorrow. When a person dies, many are strengthen through the Scriptures by learning their love one is not suffering. (Genesis 2:7; 3:19)
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear loved one. You're in our thoughts and prayers. May the God who gives peace be with all of you.-RO.15:33
Jane,
My sympathy to you and your family. Please remember that God is a refuge for us during times like this.
Ps. 46:1
Cinematography will never be the same...Altough there were many miles between us, we thought of you often. You will be truly missed. We will someday meet again on that big stage in the sky!!
Though the miles prevented us from seeing our Uncle Garrett as often as we would have liked, he has always held a very special place in our hearts. What a wonderful life he lived.
Great work! Pray the family can have comfort from God during this difficult time.
Mr. Lewis seemed like a person who lived his life to the fullest. Now he's asleep hoping to hear the words Lazarus heard when Jesus resurrected him saying "Lazarus come out" meaning from the grave. So for now rest in peace.
My sincere condolence for the loss of Garrett your dear loved one. May your fond memories of him bring back good thoughts. Peace and love to your family and friends, and to the spirit that you show. bjluv333@comcast.net
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Know that Garrett's gifts transported us - almost without our full permission. Only as we exited the theater or turned off our player did we begin to know all he done. So too in his life - he transformed us in ways we will continue to enjoy long after he has departed this life.
Thank you Garrett - love and joy to all who loved him.
May the eternal light shine upon him....
Thank you for your gift ~ Rest in peace.
With sincere condolences to family and friends and may you find comfort in God's inspired word the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16).
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
We are so sorry for your loss. May your family find comfort in the God of all comfort. May you cherish your memories of your loved one and hold them dear.
What a wonderful life. God Bless his Family. He will always Live in the Light.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
May you find much comfort in having experience Garrett's love, kindness and gifts and allow it to influence your actions every day of your life so that his life/legacy may continue.
