Johnny: I hardly knew ya," but I was always happy to encounter you on set. You were so kind and friendly and a pleasure to work with. I will always remember singing old songs to pass the time in holding.
My brother Johnny is beloved and survived by myself and siblings, Robert, Maureen, and Karen. There is comfort in knowing he was received by treasured love ones, my parents John and Helen and my late siblings Carolyn, Kevin, and Dennis.
Dear Johnny, I am breathless with each thought of your sudden departure. I should be familiar with the pain from those gone before you, but each loss is as poignant as the others, just showing up in a unique hue. Growing up, we don't contemplate losing our brothers and sisters. In some irrational, nonsensical way we envision always being together. Intrinsically woven souls we are, us siblings. And with the loss of one comes a distressing sense of unraveling. But we are not unraveled, only changed. For nothing loved is ever truly lost and I dearly love my brothers and sisters. Whether we are here or there we will always be our family, we will always be the Condons.
I will miss your colorful stories, your telepathic grin, and most of all, your laugh.
You will be forever present in the lives of Alicia and John, and Grandchildren Rose, Jack and Thomas. And you will be forever in our hearts.
'Til we meet again,
Love Always, your sister, Patsy

John made me feel a part of the gang when I met him on Body of Lies. He was a lovely, bright soul and touched many people. Thank you, John.
I am so sorry to hear this, John was a fantastic guy, always a friendly word and always willing to give you a hand. I will miss seeing him and his kind words and smile.
I only worked with him once though he left such a beautiful and charming impression. He didn't have to but was so warm and helpful to me when I was working my first day as a stand in. A gentleman and total sweetheart! Lots of love to his family.
John will be missed. He was such a kind and gentle soul. He made you feel like you mattered to him. John was a gentleman. I loved working with him on set. Godspeed Mr. Condon.
John was a true pleasure to be around. I was lucky enough to meet him on House of Cards and he was one of my favorite background actors, always with a witty comment, very polite and charming- true gentleman. Very saddened to hear this. He had a true light inside of him.
I am so saddened to hear of Johhny's passing; we received notification through SAG-AFRA Communications Newsletter. I wish I had seen him recently. He was always a joy to be around "on set" and a lovely man "off set". Sympathies to his family and happy memories always, Linda Russano Garcia.
We would like to add our condolences to the family and many friends of Johnny. John was a person who once you met, you knew you would be a friend for life. Johnny always had a smile for everyone. John will be missed by everyone who met him even if only once. Johnny was one person you could truely say lights up the room with his presence.
Oh,Johnny boy, my dear friend,
I hope you are happy, joyous and free. Will see you one day soon !
John made a difference in so many people's lives, including mine. Because of John, I was never lonely, bored or uncomfortable on a film set. He was a very friendly and welcoming person. I will never forget his kindness. He was a wonderful and charming ambassador of the DC acting community. I (along with many others) will truly miss him. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and legions of friends.
All sympathy to Johnny's family for this terribly sad and shocking loss.
Everything posted on the funeral home website about John is true. All the great praises for such a wonderful man -- the kinds of things said at times like this -- in this case so many many people say the same thing, you of course know it is absolutely true that John really was one of a kind, a uniquely gracious and generously friendly man. Of course his family know this better than any of us, and thank you so much for posting the two great photos of John, including the wonderful one with his kids around him.
Here is the link to the funeral home remembrances, in case anyone reading here doesn't have it:
I wanted to come to the funeral this morning, but I deeply regret responsibilities that prevent my attending with you to honor the great and warm man; however, I take comfort that Johnny understands, 'cause that's the kind of guy he is.
Along with all the beautiful sentiments and Bible quotes here, a line of Shakespeare will not leave my mind:
"A glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head.
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things."
Rest in Blessed Peace, Dear Johnny.
My heartfelt sympathy to family and friends for your loss. "Now may the Lord of peace give you peace constantly in every way. May the Lord of peace be with all of you." 2 Thess. 3:16
So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

We will dearly miss your always-smiling Irish eyes and heart. You made the world a happier place. Heartfelt condolences to Johnny's family and to cousin Jeanny.
We will miss Johnny's smile, his wit, the way he could light up a room just by being there. He was a kind and loving man, and we were privileged to have him as a dear friend of the family. Now he is in Heaven using his lovely Irish tenor in God's glorious chorus. Rest in peace, Johnny.
Heaven will be a more exciting place with you there now!
My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your love one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17
