Matt, I appreciate the kick in the butt when needed in my youth. You helped me in many ways shape my life as it is now. Never forgotten; true friends are hard to find." Thanks for your wisdom and help during my earlier years in life. You are a true gentleman that I miss everyday...
Officer Matt Charron was my guardian angel since the days if his beat in mount Vernon officer Matt Charon always seem to be there for me a I was being a mischievous young adult. He knew I was a good person and never meant harm to anyone. My fondest memory was in 1995 wen I had a horrible car accident in lorton. Upon matts arrival he looked at the drivers license of me and asked the responding officer to let him take care of it. Matt rode to the hospital with me util my husband arrived. He has helped me out so many times knowing that I would always learn from my mistakes. Matt and I ha a chance to see each other after one of his bouts of getting out of he hospital. I spoke to him often and I will miss my guardian angel. We is a food soul. An amazing officer and he will always be watching me from above. I love you Matt see ya around some time

I just heard. Matt, I thank you, and the rest of the boys from Franconia (in the day) for keeping me straight and out of trouble. In my world trouble was easy to find but your presence and the respect that I developed for you, your dept., and your dept. mates, kept my itch at bay. From my family to you and yours (in and out of the force) I extend a warm and greatful thank you.
Travel well, Matt, and forever be at peace.
My condolences to the family for your loss. May your prayers to the God of all comfort sustain you during your grieving process.
My deepest sympathies to your family. We use this site to talk to my brother quite often. I hope that you can get some comfort in doing the same. Sending loving thoughts to all of you.
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited -
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot destroy peace,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot suppress memories,
It cannot silence courage,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot steal eternal lie,
It cannot conquer the spirit.
Matt's spirit continues to live on in his family and friends.
I remember seeing you on your skateboard being pulled by the horse you called a dog. Good times! Rest in peace buddy and drink one for me when you get to the pearly gates.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
