(Joseph) Fitzgerald; grandmother of Kristen and Robyn Saunders, Kelly Fitzgerald. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 10401 Armory Avenue, Kensington, MD on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment private. I will never forget Miss Claire. She was a sweet and wonderful person who truly loved her family. I will never forget her helping the Activities team at the Family Halloween party. Miss Claire did the face painting and the kids loved it! She will always hold a place in our hearts!
I will treasure this memory and the wedding vow event in which she and Mr. Crenshaw participated and celebrated with the family. It was wonderful

You Mom will always be a Champ to me! So loving, so dedicated and she truly loved her family. I will deeply miss her daily visits to see your Dad, but I will always hold many wonderful memories of her in my heart! She was beautiful, kind ,and gracious! Blessings to all of you!

May she rest in the arms of Christ. My daughter, at 38 y/o remembers Claire entertaining children, my daughter was 6 y/o at the time, with her stuffed monkey hand pupet. I am sure a great number of people have fond memories of Claire as she in deed touched many hearts.
