On Sunday, January 26, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of R. Daniel Devlin; mother of Michael (Kitu) Devlin, Robert (Marion) Devlin, John (Christina) Devlin, Edward (Maria) Devlin, and Diane (Drew) Trimble; sister of Joanne Bland and Jean Parsley. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, January 30, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. So sorry I could not be there. My heart goes out to you. It is so hard to lose a family member especially the youngest. Edna was such a sweet one and so pretty. It is a long time since we played together for the Gonzaga J.V. basketball team. I shall remember Edna May at Mass. May she now be enjoying the God whom she loved and who loves her. May God also give you and the family the grace and courage to bear her loss at this time.

Edna was my grandmother Evelynne's friend. They had only just met a few years ago at church, then one day they realized they both lived in Leisure World together and their friendship grew. My grandmother speaks very highly of Edna and will miss her very much. They both got a big kick out of saying "Devlin & Evelynne" together.

Mr. Devlin, Michael, Bobby, Jack, Teddy and especially Diane, I was so saddened to learn the loss of Mrs Devlin. Growing up in Flower Valley I adored your family and all the time I spent with you - especially Mrs Devlin and Diane. You each hold a special place in my heart. Your mom was a real life angel and I am forever blessed to have had her in my life. My love to each you. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
