We just learned of Denny's passing at St. Catherine's this morning, where our kids went to school and church with Julie, Cheryl and Gail for at least 10 years. Also, we are neighbors to Denny's childhood home on Henderson Ave. Denny would often sit behind us in church and to liven things up, he would whisper jokes and chuckle during mass. He was the best Methodist/Catholic I ever met. His smile was infectious, and he was always happy. We will miss you Denny, and are thankful for the times you brightened up our lives. Our sympathy goes out to the entire Hudson family, and especially the girls. Denny, your spirit will always remain in the pew behind us.

I moved to Henderson Avenue when I was almost 10. I have such fond memories of Denny. He was always kind, always laughing and making us laugh. He was a kind and gentle person.I had a huge crush on him for the entire summer of 1963.
I only saw him once or twice after I moved to MA in 1966, but we had a neighborhood reunion in 1988 and I got a chance to catch up with him and to reminisce. He really hadn't changed at all. I count myself lucky to have known him. I will never forget all the good times we had growing up.
My deepest sympathy to his family. I know he will be dearly missed.
Godspeed, my friend. I will see you in the light.
I've had two last names since then, but when I knew Denny I was Jan Geist.

I was lucky enough to be a guest-resident of Henderson Avenue as my Aunt Anna Lehman lived there. I would spend several weeks each summer visiting from Pennsylvania and had the pleasure of spending time with Denny. He gave me rides in his corvette and put up with his friends' little cousin. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face and his dog by his side. My thoughts are with you, Denny, and your family. Rest in peace and comfort.

Denny lived down the street from my family on Henderson Ave. I remember how he loved driving his red corvette down the street and waving to everyone. He always had such a warm and friendly personality, and such a great smile!
My thoughts are with his family.

Denny and I were childhood friends and have remained friends throughout our adult lives. Denny was everyone's friend. He was one of the dirty dozen as we called ourselves on the infamous Henderson Ave. He always kept our group smiling and laughing. He gave me my first dozen of Red Roses on my 21st birthday. We shared the love of animals, especially dogs. I will never forget you Denny and your zest for life. Until we meet again
