GEORGE SPIROS KARADIMOS (Age 88)
On Monday, January 20, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Georgia B. Karadimos; father of Spero G. (Gloria) Karadimos; grandfather of Steve Nicholas Karadimos, James Marsh and Jacque Woods; brother of Peter S. (Catherine) Karadimos and Katherine (John W.) Koustenis. Also survived by five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, January 23, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (temporarily housed at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church), 15100 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring MD 20905 on Friday, January 24, at 11 a.m. Interment Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care of Baltimore/Towson, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031 or to Sts. I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. I was one of his Aides although I have been gone since August. He always had something funny to say in the morning when I would wake him up. I know he is now happy to be with his beloved Georgia. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

One of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am proud to call him my grandfather. I will miss his awesome smile, great stories, advice, and that slap on the back! I love you Gee!
