GLORIA FARLEY HARVEY
On Friday, May 17, 2013, of Riderwood Village, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Graduate of the University of Maryland and long-time Montgomery County elementary school teacher. Beloved wife of the late Robert Henry Harvey; mother of Bob (Sheree), Bill (Lynne), Jim and Bruce (Renee) Harvey; grandmother of Brad, Owen, Patrick, Brian, Shawn, Kristen, Tyler, Connor, Erin, Lexy, Rob and Megan. Also survived by great- grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Brenna and Addie. Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 10401 Armory Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895 on Monday, June 3, at 11 a.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church by visiting www.stpaulsk.org.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

One of my favorite teachers of all time. I'll never forget sitting on her lap in first grade as she helped me through a migraine until my mom could arrive. Wish so much I could attend the services. She is one of the teachers in my life that inspired me to become a teacher.

What a wonderful lady she was. All of my children loved her. She was one of Linda's favorite teachers. She was o good to her when she would get bad headaches in the first grade. (Later diagnosed as migraines). She would hold her and comfort her unti mom could come get her. What sweet memories she has left with each of us. Our love and prayers to the family.
