Our prayers and condolences go out to Ray and his family. I worked with Ray for many years, but remember that Peg was always by his side. I especially remember Ray and Peg visiting me at Holy Cross hospital. A very kind and gentle person who will be missed. We will keep the family in prayer.

Peggy was one of the sweetest people we ever met. She truly will be missed by all of her family and friends, but her memory will remain in our hearts forever. In the days to come, may her memory always bring you a smile.

Mrs. Smith was one of the kindest persons I have known. She always found the good in everyone. Her home was always open for a visit, even unplanned. I have very found childhood memories of times spent with her. The Smith's have always been family too me. In the darkest part of my life it only seemed natural for me to go to Mrs. Smith. She filled an enormous void and guided me when I did not know where to go. My heart aches for the ones left behind because the loss is great. But my heart also rejoices because she is united with an old friend. My pastor always said to lead a life that reflects the teachings of Christ, so that when God calls us home he will say to us " You have done well my good and faithful servant." I know God said those words to Mrs. Smith.

Momma Peggy will be missed greatly as she was the Ultimate example of Christian Love. The greatest smile and open arms to all who came in contact with her made her a special lady! Growing up with her, Ray ,Mike and Patty taught me what family was all about...Spring hill lake apartments to St Hugh"s church to Holy Redemeer--the Greenbelt/Berwyn Heights connection...We had some awesome mothers!!!Grilled Cheese sandwiches, birthday celebrations, trip to Ct, more cookouts than can be counted and Camping in greenbelt park...the list goes on and on. We Love you Peggy and will miss you more than can be expressed!!! Prayers and hugs to the Smith family!!!

I will always remember Peggy for her kind words, bright smiles, and positive attitude no matter what was happening in her life. She and Ray are "Salt of the Earth" people who were dedicated to each other, their family and their friends! I will miss her very much!

I met Ms. Peggy through her daughter Patty, whom I went to college with during the early 90s. I always found Ms. Peggy to be a kind and compassionate lady. She opened her home to me on many occasions during those college years. Over the years, I've been invited to dinners, special celebrations, and outings. I was made to feel like "one of the family". This was the kind of lady Ms. Peggy was. She always sent cards to let you know she was thinking about you and always asked about your family whenever she saw you. Her loving spirit will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the Smith and McVicker families during this sad time.
