My friend and loving mentor and teacher of my son meant a lot to me. Through her own difficult heritage, she grew amazing compassion. I haven't spoken to her in over 20 years and was looking her up to say hello. I am much older and learned so much about life and tolerance. I adored her as did my son. I am shocked and so very sad. The world is missing a super nova.

My sympathies to Mary Lou, Charlie, and Susan, My memories of Megan from our childhood in Chevy Chase to later years are of a bright, warm, beautiful person whose smile was contagious. Even though our paths crossed only a few times in recent years, she was truly one of those unique, unforgettable individuals who left us too soon.

To megans family: megan was a true pioneer in the natural products industry. I met her nearly 17 years ago when she supported my fledgling company, Wyndmere Naturals. She has been my friend, confidante and supporter ever since. It is so rare to know a lady with her degree of integrity, honesty, wit, intelligence, raw desire to do what is right for this planet and tremendous compassion for all. I will miss you so dearly, megan. Thank you for sharing your short life with so many people on this plane. I know your spirit will soar now that it is not embodied.
