On Friday, December 6, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Pauline Herosian; father of Arthur Charles (Vicky) Herosian and Eleanor Mae Hughes. Grandfather of Dawn Renee (Aaron) Aumiller. Great-grandfather of William Aumiller. Step-grandfather of Andrew Jung. Brother of Edward (Ann) Herosian of Falmouth, MA and the late George Herosian. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Thursday, December 12, from 12 to 1 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. My name is Filip Willems, I am a Master Sergeant in the Army. I was in touch many times with Mr. Herosian. We had pleasant conversations, about his unit he served in and for which I made the website (ww2airborne.net). I just discovered a picture from him, in Southern France in 1944. I do not have any idea on how to pass this picture on to the family ...

Polly and Family: I know you all have lost your greatest friend of these many years. I know he was a dear and loving friend to all of us at Forest Lake and we have many fond memories of his long friendship with us. I am sure you will all miss him dearly. Please know you have our deepest sympathy.
