Very sorry to hear of Vince's passing. I had the pleasure of working at GSFC. Top notch guy, one of the best and Goddard would be better with more like him. May he rest in peace, and may his family find peace now and in the future.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Vince's passing. Soon after graduating from Maryland and while working at NASA/Goddard, I was extremely fortunate to get to work with Vince. We worked closely together for about 15 years. Over that time I got get to know Vince extremely well. He taught me volumes about the space business and life. He had a profound Impact my life. Without question he was the one of the hardest working individual I have ever known and his integrity was second to none. But what was even more remarkable was what a kind and caring family person he was. I would like to thank your family for sharing Vince with us at Goddard… I will always strive to be like Vince.

To my forever best friend, my dad. I was so lucky to have you as my dad. You led by example and always taught me to be a kind and loving person first and foremost in life. I will always remember all of the wonderful times we had together as a family, with each other at home, and also on family vacations. Thank you for teaching me how to ride my bike, paint the fence, and drive my car. Also thank you for your many patience with my math homework and the playing of my James Taylor records over and over again in my teenage years. I am blessed to have had you there during my illness and to have someone as truly loving as you there to take care of me. Dad I will love you always and forever, until I
see you again.
Love,
Mary Rose

Grandpa,
May your ever loving soul rest knowing that you not only accomplished being a successful American who served our country, but also a man who accomplished being the greatest heights of being a dad, uncle, brother, husband, and grandpa. From being little and running errands with you to the store on Sundays or the Silver Diner after church, I will always remember your striking and charming character. Although your physical being is gone from earth, your soul lingers in our hearts forever. Rest in perfect peace, love always,
Danielle

My loving grandfather Dince, as many of us call him by, was by far the most kindest loving man I knew. From always welcoming me into his home to stay whenever I pleased to always being there for me and making great loveable memories. It seemed like yesterday when I was little and helping grandpa Dince with taking care of the yard and going on walks around the neighborhood and the mall early in the morning. I recall us carving pumpkins at haloween and him teaching me how to draw. All these memories and many more will always stay with me as i will cherish them forever. Love you grandpa Dince forever and always, your grandson Blake.

Vince and I worked in the same division at the Goddard Space Flight Center for many years. It was my pleasure to know and work with him. I was also a neighbor of his brother-in-law, Ed Healey, in the Peachwood subdivision of Montgomery County. My sincerest condolences to the family - he will be sorely missed.
