HARRIET G. HYDRO (Age 91)
On Sunday, June 19, 2016, of Wheaton, MD. Beloved wife of the late John Hydro, Jr.; mother of John P. Hydro, William Hydro, Michael Hydro, Joseph Hydro, Patricia Jackson and Christine Hydro; grandmother of Angelo Mangano, Jr., Lash Mangano and Bunbun Hydro. Also survived by her sister, Connie Haefner and two nieces, Sue Haefner and Louise Tomasello. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, June 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Interment private. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Chris, my heart goes out to you and your family in this difficult time. I have happy memories of your Mom. I remember a particular shopping trip when I saw a quilt I just fell in love with. I couldn't afford it and your Mom picked up on it right away; offering to lend me the money. I still have that quilt, as old and worn as it is. It will always remind me of your Mom. She was an angel in life and now an angel in Heaven. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Hydro.
