HAYDÉE McGUGAN
On Thursday, March 3, 2016 of Silver Spring, MD, Haydée McGugan, beloved wife of Vincent McGugan for 66 years, passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord. Mother of Vincent (Joy); Michael; Steve; David; Patrick (Anne); Dianne; Maria (Peter); grandmother of John, Merrily, Natalie, Matthew, Megan, Samuel, Brian, Ryan, Stephanie, Jacob, Rebecca; great-grandmother of Teagean. Haydée earned a BA degree in Education at Nazareth College, Kalamazoo, Michigan and positively impacted thousands of young lives during her career as a teacher. She was a member of the MaryKnights. Haydée loved bridge, bowling, and golf, family vacations, and traveling the world with Vince.Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Tuesday, March 8, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, March 9, at 11 a.m., followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, 4600 Park Rd., Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
