One of the kindest individuals I've ever known. He was a friend to my parents before I was born...and he never missed calling my mother on her birthday. I am so pleased that I had a chance to know him over the years, and I am forever grateful for the example of generosity he demonstrated all the days of his life. My only regret is that I am just now learning of his passing...I am sorry to have missed the celebration of his life!

Brother was such a wonderful person and a delight to talk with. I will offer Mass for the repose of his soul and let the members of the Historical Society know of his passing. My prayers for all the Holy Trinity community. Fraternally, Rev. Msgr. Maury O'Connell.

Both sad and happy to hear of Bro. Hilary's passing. What an awesome life! Like so many others, he had an enormous impact on our entire family. 11 years ago, he helped to Christen our first born, Calvin Hilary Tucker. I was always tickled to be the butt of his jokes and truly honored to have his love and daily prayer. I will miss him in this life and hope that he will advocate for my safe passage into the next many years from now, as he is certainly honored in God's Kingdom now. Grateful to have known him and called him a friend and mentor.

My family knew dear Brother Hilary for over 50 years. I was a young girl when he would grace our home many times for dinner and family social occasions. When my father was in Vietnam, he would pick my brothers and me up and take us to the circus and on other fun excursions. He was a wonderful addition to our extended family. He graciously performed the eulogy at my mother's mass in Jan 2017. He was an inspiration to us all. He had a remarkable sense of humor. May God bless him in his forever home. With love, the Hundertmark family

About five years ago, I was traveling and working in the Silver Spring area. I had the opportunity to join the retired Priest and Brothers for dinner at Father Judge Missionary Cenacle in Adelphi, Maryland. I had the opportunity to have dinner at Brother Hillary's table and catch up on my family and career. I was inspired by Brother Hillary's interest and activity in his retirement. Brother Hillary, always gracious and kind showed personal interest in me and made me feel welcomed.
