HILDEGARD HUNDERTMARK
On Monday, December 26, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edwin W. Hundertmark; mother of Robert J. Hundertmark, Audrey M. Hundertmark and Brian J. Hundertmark; grandmother of David Markman, Mindy King, Anne Hundertmark and Gretchen Hundertmark; and sister of Mitzi Peham and Karl Scheucher. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD 20901 (Valet Parking) on Wednesday, January 4, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20906 on Thursday, January 5, at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. She was such a good friend to my mother, Susan Dollard, and she would frequently drive over to my father's house and leave a cake on the doorstep for him. She was so very proud of you all. I hope you are all well now. Merry Christmas. May she rest in peace. All the best, Colleen Dollard.

Dear Audrey, Robert, and Brian,
I will miss your mother and my aunt. I always enjoyed my visits to see her. She was such a wonderful hostess and such a great cook! I especially enjoyed her stories of life as a school girl in WWII Austria, and her account of meeting my uncle Ed and their courtship. I only wish I had visited more often after moving closer to her home when we relocated to Virginia. Audrey, thanks for all the loving care you gave to your mother in her last years. Thanks also for including me in the funeral service. The scriptures chosen were very meaningful and encouraging. I will be keeping all of you in my prayers. The Lord is good always and faithful in His promises. The Lord Jesus is a mighty savior!

We have many fond memories of Hildegard. She was always very kind and generous. We loved her visits to Adrian St. She was one of mom's best friends. They will be sharing a cup of tea together in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you today.
