JAMES RAY MARTIN (Age 69)
On Saturday, October 31, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Mary P. Martin; loving father of Debbie Whipty and Pam Pollard (Tim); devoted grandfather of Thijs, Alex, April, Casey and Mandi; proud great-grandfather of Brayden and Rylynn; cherished brother of Nancy Killian (C. Douglas) and the late Barbara Thorpe. Also survived by three nieces, two nephews and countless friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 6, at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Although we will be unable to see Jimmy, we can be comforted knowing that those beautiful and kind qualities hat he exemplified throughout life are as real now as they ever were. We will miss seeing the physical manfestation of Jimmy, but will feel his spiritual presence with every kind and caring word shared. I say, do not rest in peace, Jimmy, but dance in heaven!
