On Friday, May 4, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Alycia S. Ries; father of James J. (Wendy) Ries, Jr., David P. (Georgia) Ries, Mary Kay (Howard) Rosenberg and Carol R. (Rob) Seubert; grandfather of Abigail, Alexandra, William, Austin and Sara; brother of Martin F. Ries, the late Jane Young, E. Teresa Ries, Sr. Carol Ries and Charles Ries. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Wednesday, May 9, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, May 10, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
