It seems like yesterday we were going through a tough course together. You always had a great attitude no matter the circumstances and you were always first to help others in need. I miss you brother. I will forever remember your friendship.

I was shocked and sadden to hear of Jimmy's passing. Working with Jimmy in Hawaii was one of the highlights of my career. A great Soldier and CI Agent, and an even better friend. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

Great friend and Soldier, hard to believe we knew each other over a decade. Our job is sort of ironic in a way that you always run into the same folks over and over, I am saddened by the fact that I will never see James again. Maybe we will meet again sometime in heaven, until that day you will be missed.

Serving with 1SG White in Kuwait and Georgia was an absolute honor. I'll never forget how he helped me get home from Afghanistan to see the birth of my son. That was the type of leader and person he was, always putting his Soldiers needs above his own. He positively touched many of our lives and I know we all carry a piece of him in our hearts! You will always be missed brother, rest easy now.

I had the opportunity to serve with Jimmy on several different occasions and words cannot express how much of an impact he had on me and my Army career. The world is truly a lesser place without him in it, yet his legacy will live on.

Goodbye James. Another friend gone to early. I remember your silly laugh and bright red skin after standing in the Fort Huachuca sun. You'd always blame it on your Irish genes. Karaoke at famous Sams and dragging me along to Tucson even though i couldn't get into any clubs because i was under age. I remember a funny story after moving into Rielly barracks where you were living with Joseph Silva. I'll tell it to you one day when i visit. Rest in piece brother. Your name, when mentioned during my time in service, always carried with it praise and commendations for the work you did. Rest easy brother... your watch is over and will be picked up by those you led, trained and inspired. Til Valhalla!

The world is a much less safe place today. Serving with 1SG White was an honor and a privilege for all of us who were lucky enough to do it. He will truly be missed by all. Don't worry, Jimmy, we've got the watch now. Rest, brother.

My deepest condolences to your family. I served under then 1SG White in Georgia and it is shame you were taken from this world so early. You and your expert professionalism will be missed. Thank you for everything, see you again on the Drop Zone in the sky.

I served under 1SG White both in Georgia and Kuwait. A consummate professional Noncommissioned Officer and leader, and someone respected across the spectrum of those who served with him. The Army is less now with his passing.

I am thankful that my husband served with First Sargent White in the 202nd MI BN, he was a good leader and the battalion was a better unit for having him. He will be missed and I am sorry for your loss.
