JAMILA AISHA WILKINS ODOM
On Saturday, July 9, 2016. Wife of Daron Odom; beloved mother of Jada Odom. She is also survived by her parents, Harvey and Brenda Wilkins; one step-daughter, Darian Odom; one sister, Shani Wilkins; one brother, Jelani Wilkins; her grandparents, Willie and Mammie Reynolds, Rose and Lee Morse Bynum; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Odom will lie in state at From the Heart Church Ministries, 4949 Allentown Road, Suitland, MD on Wednesday, July 20 from 10 a.m., until funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment Ressurrection Cemetery. Services by Stewart.

I'm still finding it hard to believe. My heart is so heavy. I still remember coming to your house so you could show me the addition you were adding to the house and the furniture you was making and me being floored that you were doing this by yourself and not hiring a company or going out to buy new furniture. All those years ago when we worked together in Measurement Services, I saw your potential and your ambition. A true role model and I remember you, I will always remember you. RIP Mila. You definitely made an impact on me and a lot of others from what I can tell.

Words truly can't express how sad and heartbroken I am just knowing that we've lost such a wonderful, sweet and vibrant young lady. Yes God, does have a plan and being human, though we trust Him, at times we just don't understand his plan.
