I remember when Jane joined Senator Church's staff, and when she helped plan a bridal shower at the Church's cabin for my husband and me in 1970. We kept in touch about politics across the years, and I was saddened to learn of her passing. She adored her extended family, and all share a lot of warm, and fun, memories.

Tom and I met Jane in Buffalo in 1970, working for the Ottinger for Senate campaign, and loved her spirit. She came to our wedding in 1971, and gave us a poster which still hangs on our bedroom wall. Her sense of humor, and infectious laugh, and inexhaustible supply of funny stories made her a pleasure to be with over many years of shared political campaigns and protests. We stayed with her in DC a couple of times when we came down from Brooklyn for protests. Of late, our conversations were by phone, and it was sad to see her world shrink, but we are still shocked and saddened by her death. Deepest condolences to her family, of whom she was very proud and to whom she was devoted. We will miss her.

Jane and I were in high school class together and she hosted several HS 'reunions'at her apartment in Washington with local and visiting Orchard Park classmates. I will miss her spirited 'political discussions', her compassion for others and loyalty for her beliefs. She was a warm, welcoming and fun person to be with. She will be sorely missed.

I met Jane at The Little Theatre of Alexandria. We worked on a few shows there together. That was in 1981, but seems like yesterday. Jane and I shared many interests together including theatre, politics and mutual friends. I will miss her sorely. My sorrow at her passing is deep, but I take comfort that her suffering is over. My condolences to the family and all who loved her. Well done Jane.

I met Jane when she was the costumer for a theater company that I worked with. She has remained a dedicated friend while I have moved many times, always fascinating in telling stories and in her knowledge of issues. I shall miss sharing long phone talks with her! She always spoke of her family - I am thinking of you now, as well. Blessings to you, and thanks to Jane for her friendship!
