My mother, Doris Rush Barden, was friends with Jean for many years. Sadly, in her senior years my mother became more reclusive and stopped contact with all her past friends. My mother passed away in her sleep on April 8, 2020. I hope she and Jean meet again in heaven.

Remembering Our
Angel In Heaven
at Christmas Time

The sadness never goes away
the silent tears still flow,
you're thought of and so sadly missed
more than you'll ever know.

But now you're with the Angels
safe and sound in Heaven above,
we hold on to the memories
and treasure them with love.

Yet special times like Christmas
often make us wonder why,
God took you from the world
it was too soon to say goodbye.

But memories are precious
they will last a lifetime through,
we know that God had chosen you
to be His Angel too.

Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day
We bow our hearts to You and pray.
We give You thanks for all You've done
Especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son.
For beauty in nature, Your glory we see
For joy and health, friends and family,
For daily provision, Your mercy and care
These are the blessings You graciously share.
So today we offer this response of praise
With a promise to follow You all of our days.

Don't stop the memory of the time we shared.
Take time to laugh when life gets hard, the way we used to do.
A smell? A touch? The morning sun? They all will help you see.
I'm still there. I never left. Now smile once more for me.
Live each day, keep looking up. My life was not in vain.
I finished the task I was born to do.
That's why I could not remain.
Until I see you I love you forever and always.

The Lord is my light
and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the strength
of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

Deepest sympathy to Bonnie, Ronnie, and Connie and all the family. My mom (Doris Barden in Germantown, MD) was very sad to learn of her passing, especially since they were high school friends (a reminder of how fast the years fly by). We will always remember Jean as beautiful inside and out. Heaven has one more angel now.
