Also survived by many loving family and friends. My deep regrets to John's family and friends. I'll miss John stopping by for lunch and sharing his "finds" and plans for the future. John was one of the most talented technicians Sears ever had. He was always available if someone needed help. They'll never be another John Porter.

We were so sad to hear the news of such a nice and gentle soul, he brought smiles to all our faces and enjoyed seeing him and hearing of all his great deals he had just found and seeing how happy it made him to know he had gotten that deal. He will be missed.
