JOHN E. DOLAN "Ned" (Age 91) Capt., USMC (Ret.)
On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 of Garrett Park, MD. Beloved husband of the late Elaine A. Dolan; father of Clare Harris, Janet Dolan, Thomas Dolan, Kathleen Dolan, Paul Dolan and Suzanne Knight; brother of the late Lt. Col. Eugene T. Dolan, USMC (Ret.). Also survived by 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial at Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer, VA at a later date. Please accept my sincere sympathies. Do not underestimate the value of prayer. It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The " Hearer of prayer " promises to give holy spirit to his servants who sincerely ask for it. ( Psalm 65 : 2; Luke 11 : 13 ) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help you cope with the death of a loved one.
