JOHN HENRY OLDFIELD, JR. (Age 89)
Passed away last Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Suburban Hospital. Born June 23, 1926 in Bethesda, Maryland. He was the son of late John H Oldfield Sr. and Helen E Phillips Oldfield. Surviving in addition to wife, Sueko Oldfield are his son and daughter-in-law, Misao and Veronica Oldfield. He also has four granddaughters. Alexandra, Norma, Tiara and Kiara.Having served in the Marine Corps for 22 years (Japan, North Korea, and Vietnam), John will be buried at the Arlington National cemetery on October 1, 2015. Gathering and viewing will be held at the COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd. W, Silver Spring, MD 20901 on Saturday, August 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
