I too recall the many frisbee games. We rode bikes playing frisbee, with out helmets of course. Amazing we all survived childhood! I also recall one of, if not, the first car Johnny had. It was white and an older model. He had the brakes go out on him on Colesville Road. From what I recall, the cop did not give him a ticket cause he handled it so well and got the car safely stopped! I remember he was very happy about the no ticket! My thoughts are with the family...

Tossing a frisbee across Northwest Drive with all the neighborhood kids. Oh yeah, and those crab apple fights. Plenty of good times.
I remember Johnny assembling model kits with me. I remember saying "I'm gonna have a really cool van like Johnny some day."
Burke family, thoughts and prayers for you...

and to Mary, your dad was the best. My heart goes out to you for your loss. He was always ready for a good time, fun neighbor to have, good schoolmate. I spent many an hour with him as we made our way through elementary and high school together.

I had the pleasure of working with John for many years. We assembled the foundation of a special education computer network that still exsists today. I consider him a true friend that cared deeply for his daughter and she was the bright light of his life. I hope that John will now find true peace. I will miss him.
