JOHN ROGERS THURBER (Age 61)
On Saturday, August 22, 2015, of Washington, DC. Beloved son of the late John Newton and Joet Lee Thurber; father of John Anthony Thurber; brother of Pamela Thurber Duncan, Michele Lee Thurber and Sandra Newton Thurber (Cynthia F. Golding). Also survived by former partner Marie O'Donnell (mother of his son), former wife, Katherine Mason, two nieces, Lanika Blackmon and Samanda Drewry and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, August 28, 2015, from 3 to 5 p.m. with prayer service at 4 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to Georgetown University Hospital.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
