On Tuesday, December 5, 2017, of Rockville, MD. Loving sister of Catherine C. Chaconas and husband, Patrick; sister-in-law of, Carolyn Caludis (late husband, William); aunt of Angelique Margarites (Nick), Nick Chaconas (Jodi), Helen Campbell (Justin), Catherine Morrison (Dan), Michael and Effrocene Constantine. Also survived by many cousins and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th St. & Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC, on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death and our loving Heavenly Father is very aware and understand your painful loss. He will listen to your prayer and pay attention to your pleas for help because he is near to all those calling on him. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort. Snoopy1021 was a dear friend of my family's for nearly 40 years. She was a generous, fun-loving, and devoted friend. She loved her family and her Greek heritage and hot weather and the beach fiercely. We will miss her devotion and her wry sense of humor, our lunch dates, and our comical friend. We are glad she has been released from pain and suffering, which she endured for so long and with such dignity.
