To Kathy's family: I will sorely miss a wonderful friend of many, many years. She truly gave of herself to help so many, in so many ways. And if there is karma within this world, her nephew, Marshall, was there to relentlessly give her strength and aid, especially throughout the past months. She was so very, very proud of him and told me that she would never have been able to deal with the many long emergency room episodes and all the days within the hospital and rehab without his presence. I will also miss her "Gabby Updates" and all the beautiful flowers she planted each year. May her soul lie without pain and suffering.

As the days go by, I remember so many of Kathy's wonderful attributes and what she did for so many people. Today I was remembering how each spring Kathy would give me catnip for my cats. We would lunch periodically and Kathy enjoyed Greek food and excellent hamburgers. We had a lot of fun together. I am so sorry that Kathy had so much pain. She was always proud of her nephew and talked about what he was doing. Best to the family and may you have great memories to carry you forward.

You were a good friend over the years and I am honored to have helped you in what would unknowingly be your final days. I wish the last time we saw each other was not the final time. But I am glad you are not suffering and in pain any longer. You will be sorely missed from my life. Wherever you are, kiss the kitties for me.
