LOUISE G. BARNETT (Age 98)
On Thursday, September 14, 2017, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late John Barnett and step-mother of the late Loretta Barnett. Born December 18, 1918 to Victor E. Grotlisch and Julia D. Klinger. She obtained a Masters Degree in Education from University of Maryland. She worked for the Montgomery County Public Schools and received a certificate of appreciation upon her retirement on June 2, 1981. She was a member of the Alpha Kappa Gamma Professional Society of educators. Still remembering Louise and the impact she had on me when she was my fourth grade teacher. I was planning to go see her when I learned of her passing. As a teacher myself, it is important to acknowledge those who set us on the path.
