On Friday, December 18, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Walter W. Norris; mother of Grenda L., Cynthia, and the late Wesley W. Norris; sister of Raymond Crowell, Jr. and Willie Mae Grier. Relatives and friends may call at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, 1630 Vermont Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20009, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 9 to 11 a.m. where service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Vermont Avenue Baptist Church.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

It's so difficult to know that God has called Miss Lucy however, for we know God does not make mistakes. I shall miss her quiet and pleasant personality and especially her smile. She was a peaceful person and she now has gone home to be with the Lord. I shall continue to keep the family in prayer during this difficult time and celebrate the life of a wonderful person. She will be remembered always.

It's still sinking in that Aunt Lucy is no longer with us. I will cherish the "selfie" you sent me just hours before you left this earth of you smiling and enjoying life, not realizing this would be my last photo of you. Love you so much and the wonderful memories and photos will keep me smiling for a life time. Rest in Paradise..... You will be missed.
