Rest in peace and thank you

I had these egocentric thoughts that I was the only Dominican tech in the service because I had never bumped into one. I had seen your name when I frequent the memorial page but I figured you were PR. I now know why they made the EOD guy in that SEAL movie Dominican, to honor you. Coje una tremenda clase de hombre para caminar hacia una bomba cuando los otros le corren. Tus padres deverian todavia estar muy orgullosos de ti. Me gustaria mucho conocerlos. Solo por leer todo lo que dicen tu familia de ti me has inspirado ha seguir tratando de ser el mejor technico que puedo ser y para levantar la Mano cuando el trabajo dificil se tiene que hacer. Te dejo una presidente cuando visite el memorial. "Initial success or total failure"

There's a sunny room to enter by
Sometimes I pass through it
Each morning the sun gives light and life to all that lives in there
Your face & shadow breathes and lives in memory along with all the living plants that share your sun
It is a room full of sun & life
A life one cannot forget
Forever remembered L.A.S.

Gone, But Never Forgotten. I think of you often, but on Memorial Day and Memorial Day Weekend I paid tribute to you. I watched a movie called Taking Chance and I cried the whole time. I just kept thinking that it was your story. I guess it is a story not only about Chance Phelps, but about all the brave soldiers KIA. Love you.

My dearest Luis (Scuba Ariel). I just found out about your passing and I'm devastated. Funny thing is that after I met you I ended up meeting your cousin Elmer. Of course I didn't know about your relationship until now. Small world huh. I searched for you after we lost touch while you were at Eglin AFB, Florida but not such luck. I hate that I had to find out this way. But I know you are in a better place, unfortunately God needed his precious angel back. Too soon if you ask me. Just know that you have always and will always hold a very special place in my heart. To the Souffront Family My deepest condolences. And to Luis, until we meet again my friend. <3

Hello Louis: My wonderful student who always knew that he wished to be a Navy Seal from the earliest grade of 9. You always stood the tallest and straightest and never swerved from your goal. From this heartbroken teacher on this Memorial Day, nearly four years later, I think of you and your unwavering dedication to serve and protect and will always uphold your memory as the highest level of nobility a man can engender. You are truly not of this world and never have been Louis. This world never deserved you, but is better because of you. May peace and serenity surround you for eternity my darling.

Love,
Ms. Borden
