LURLINE MAUDRIANA FACEY (Age 81) Affectionately known as "Madge"
On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved mother of Hyacinth (Leslie) Salmon, Roy (Joanna) Falconer, Winona Russell, Jacqueline Russell, Sydney Russell, Colleen (Michael) Moses, Monique (Jay) Taylor; sister of Mavis Facey and Myrtle Beckford. Also survived by 31 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, her nephew, William Facey, many other nieces and nephews, as well as a host of relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, November 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and at Clifton Park Baptist Church, 8818 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, MD 20903 on Saturday, November 21 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. What a wonderful spirit, a strong woman, a great nurse! And a dedicated loving mother. Peace has come. We all miss your smile, and laughter. And for me I will miss your curry goat! And our little talks we shared. When you told me not to worry about life, school, men. One Thanks Giving you sent a full dinner to me cause I was home a alone. That day I cried, and was so touched and happy to eat your food. You cared.
When you said, I will be like a mother to you and Mike.
That touched us more then you will ever know, and now I know she her self, has told you thank you for your kindness toward her kids. We are family.
