MARGARET C. MORAN (nee O'Connell)
On Sunday, December 28, 2014 of Silver Spring and formerly of Crofton, MD. Mother of Patricia M. (Tom) Dillon, and Maureen M. (Larry) Sancomb; also survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Born January 16, 1921 in Washington, DC. Graduated from Notre Dame Academy. Margaret enjoyed a 36 year career with the Hecht Company. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regency Park Activities, 730 Maryland Rt. 3 South, Gambrills, MD 21054.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

My belated condolences to the family - I used to work for Peggy at Hecht's in Marlow Heights and I loved watching her do her thing! She will be missed I am sure - something made me think of her recently which leg me to search her name....I had her last address in Crofton and did not send out Christmas cards last year. When Sister Mary Virginia and I lived in Queenstown, Peg and her sister lived across the hall from us. What a wonderful neighbor she was! She was always willing to help us and several of our other, older neighbors there. She lived a wonderful life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
