MARGARET HELEN WHITTAKER  (Age 93)  
Helen was a devoted wife and mother. She also had a successful career as Assistant Vice President of Security National Bank and was active in the Kiwanis. Died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late James Robert Whittaker; mother of James M. Whittaker (Debra) and Kathleen D. Groves (Donald); sister of Doris M. and Dorothy M. Bell and the late William T. Bell, Jr.; grandmother of Julie Boswell, Jessica Tauteroff, Michael Groves and Christopher Whittaker; step grandmother of Donald, Jr., Richard and Randy Groves. Also survived by several great grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, August 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
