Being one of Mimi's adopted chillens and the youngest chillen's side-kick from that big ol house full of love in Hyattsville, I could tell you story after story of the craziness, fun, love, joy & faith of the Lawrence Family; however, I will simply leave it to the wonderful memories that Mimi with her five inch (boogie-woogie heels) & Farkle with his wonderful laugh and sense of dedication & humor invoke. Excuse my draw but I think that house did it my grills kno what I mean. We seemed to turn into somebody else once we hit the door (giggling and carrying on and such). How your mother ever put up with the madness? To each of you and your families: Rita, Janet, Debbie, Alicia, Ooch, Ellen, Gerry, Fred and Caree: Your mother and father were a shining example of love, life, & liberty and they quite simply personified the word family. I speak for many in saying that I'm very honored to have been part this family all these years. Your parents were definitely part of the Greatest Generation (the folks who sacrificed everything just to have family and freedom the only two things which really matter). Love to you all march on march on! Love you Peedle-Pee tell Miss. Piggy to tighten up (no shlackers in the ranks).

Dear Rita, Debbie and Family I will always remember your very sweet and patient mom. All those children and she never seemed upset or at her 'wit's end'! God Bless her and all of you. Cherish the memories. I will be out of state Tuesday and Wednesday so I won't be able to attend services. You will however be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Bunny

To: Marian and the Lawrence Family

My wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to you on this day mixed with sadness and joy. The focus must be on joy and celebration because of the joy and love that your mother gave us all for an extraordinary 95 years. She lived and passed in a way that should give us all hope. I am honored to have known her and her children (especially ooch!) around 50 years. Her love and joy is reflected in her children. May she, through the mercy of God, rest in peace and may a perpetual light shine upon her.
