MARIA CRISTINA RIVA-CHEVEZ (Age 55)
On Saturday, April 26, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Survived by her loving son Andrew Chevez and his father Heber Gilberto Chevez. Also survived by her sister Margarita Riva-Geoghegan and her son Thomas Geoghegan, sister-in-law Martha Riva and her children Clare, Michael and David, her uncle Alberto Irabien and his wife Clara, her uncle Ramiro Irabien, his wife Marta and their children, Marta Marie and Carlos and their families. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, May 02, 2014, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service at St. Raphael's Church, Falls Road at Dunster Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Private. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association.

Our hearts go out to Cristina's son Andrew, his father, and the extended family. Cristina was such a loving and devoted mother that I am sure that Andrew will carry her in his heart and soul for the rest of his life.
