MARIE VIRGINIA SHIRLEY (Age 71)
Passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at her home in Berwyn Heights, MD. Beloved Wife of Pete Shirley; niece of Joe and Shirley Mastrorocco; sister-in-law of Constance Shirley Green; aunt of Wendy Dulieu (John), Kelly Green, Cindy Morrison (Scott), David Green (Gail) and Chuck Green (Ellen). Also survived by nine great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. My heart aches on the passing of Aunt Marie. I have know Aunt Marie and Uncle Pete for over 30 years. I met them through my dear sweet friend Kelly Green. I was 18 years old at the time. We have a lot of fond memories and I will treasure them. Sending my Prayers to all the family as your reflect and say goodbye to this beautiful lady. I will miss you.

I'm glad we were able to get together the last time I was in D.C. I remember the Sunday nights at Grandma's on Fifth Street when your parents and mine and all the aunts and uncles would gather, a great childhood memory of our great childhoods. I will miss you.
