We knew we were losing you, but when it happened everything was a rushed blur. I hadn't even remembered to sign your guest book until now, as I thought I'd already done so. To this day, I still feel the sting of missing you.
Tears well up in my eyes at times when it seems you should still be here to interact with. (Mother's Day is particularly rough.) You had the brightest light, were strong, yet gentle, supportive, smart and funny. And you were such a great host to family and visitors. I miss your big laugh, limitless patience, your example, talents and love. I wish more could've been done for your painful physical suffering while here. Thank you for being more than a mom. You were a true friend. I'm so grateful for you and always will be. Love, Denise

Mom, it's hard to find the words to express my appreciation for all that you did for me as a child and as an adult. I love you and will miss you dearly and will always keep you close in my heart. You've touched the lives of many, and we are all thankful for that. Rest in peace. Love always, Janet
