On Saturday, November 7, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late T. Omer Durrett, Jr.; mother of David M. Durrett, Cathy Griffiths, Joan Fitzwater the late James Daniel Durrett; grandmother of Janelle, James Wesley, Jason, Jennifer, James Daniel, II, Jessica, Julianna, Jacob, Elizabeth, Zachary, Hannah, Christopher, Matthew and the late Rachel; great-grandmother of Jackson, Aidan, Alice, Anna, Danielle, Beckett, Brendan and Felix. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck and Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Friday, November 13, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Please accept my sincere sympathies. Do not underestimate the value of prayer. It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The " Hearer of prayer " promises to give holy spirit to his servants who sincerely ask for it. ( Psalm 65 : 2; Luke 11 : 13 ) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help his faithful servants to endure any and every problem they may face.
