Marty was a friend of our family as we grew up in Silver Spring. He'd stop by to say hi and bring my Brother Indian head pennies.I'll always remember him with his leather jacket and sweet smelling cigar. He was a good and kind man.

We have such warm memories of Marty, especially of the several times he joined us at the beach for a week in North Carolina. Marty was always cheerful, funny, and interested in being a part of our lives. He made our mother's last years joyful and more meaningful, and they both took such good care of each other! We will all miss you Marty! Love, Susan, Kevin, Amy, Jenny, Lisa, Dennis, Dionna, and Nick
