MARY ANN GARRISON (Age 57)
On Thursday, March 19, 2015, of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved wife of Homer Garrison; mother of Melissa Joan and Charles Coy Garrison; daughter of Margaret Ann and the late Charles Sheetz; sister of Carter (Karolyn) Sheetz and Barbara Wisda. Also survived by her niece, Jenny Sheetz. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, March 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Concord-St. Andrew's UMC, River and Goldsboro Roads, Bethesda, MD, on Thursday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. Grandmommy was such a blessing to this family and words can't describe how much I miss her, or how grateful I am for all the times I got to spend with her. I wish so badly that we could have more but I truly appreciated all of the important events she always made it to, no matter what. I'll never forget all the times she and Auntie Melissa took me shopping and picked out my clothes because I could never have begun to look nearly as stylish as them without a whole lot of help. She was the bravest fighter around yet always managed to look like a supermodel. I love her and miss her like crazy but I know I've got another guardian angel looking over my family and I now, and that she'll never truly be gone, because she'll live on in our hearts forever.

Best known in our house as Grandmommy, Mary Ann was a true blessing and will be greatly missed. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. I will forever treasure memories of her kindness and generosity.

Mary Ann was a kind, loving, gentle soul and I for one will miss her greatly. She is up with God now and will be watching over everyone from heaven as she did here on earth. I feel blessed to have know her.

I have been truly blessed to have Mary Ann in my life, as the most loving Step Mother a person could ask for. She will forever be in my heart, and will be missed daily. My condolences and love go out to my Dad, Coy & Melissa. I love you all!
