MARY BRISBANE JACOBSON (Age 84)  
Passed away peacefully with family by her side early on Saturday, December 20, 2014, of Wheaton, MD. Beloved mother of Steven (Gail), Nancy Jarvis, Karl (Sandy), Patty Maloney (Mike), Susan Flickinger (Mark), Marianne Porter (Ralph), Andrea Murray, Paul (Elsa), Wayne (In??s), Amy Cosette (Thomas). Sister of Arthur Brisbane. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A native of Washington, DC, she raised her family in Wheaton, MD, where she lived for 61 years. She was a homemaker and active member of the community as a Sodalist at St. Catherine Laboure Church, a volunteer at Meals on Wheels and Girl Scout Leader. She also worked for the American Cancer Society for 14 years and was an active duckpin league bowler in Wheaton and White Oak up until this past June. Her claim to fame always was her family to which she was devoted and keeping the tradition of the Christmas Eve party was the highlight of the year, only to be matched by summer family vacations in Fenwick Island where family and friends have gathered since the 1960's. Relatives and friends may call at St. Catherine Laboure, Veirs Mill & Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD, Tuesday, December 23, from 12 to 1 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
